Over the years, I've had a few of my cars featured in the enthusiast press. From both the perpective of an enthusiast, and also from that of someone who's been lucky enough to make a living working with these great cars, its always incredibly satisfying, and a great honour to have your work recognised. As such, I'm now in the process of scanning these articles and uploading them onto my site.
Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine February 2010: 1993 Mercedes 190E Sportline (Ex-Felicity Kendal)

I've had the pleasure of owning and selling this car twice, and the guys at Mercedes Enthusiast came to review in in the March 2009. As you can see from the pictures, the weather was awfull on that day and by the end of the photo shoot, we were all soaked to the skin. You may notice a very damp me driving the car in the "moving shot". This particular car was owned for ten years  by actress Felicity Kendal, which made a rare car, even more desireable.

Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine April 2010: 1988 Mercedes 300CE "Solid Gold".

This review was done at the same time as the one on the 190E featured above, as you can probably guess from the the weather. Although the review was done in March 2009, it wasn't actually published until a year later, by which time I'd sold the car to a fellow Mercedes Club member, and who regularly showed this car at Classic Car events up and down the country, and as such it's quite well known. What originally attracted me to this particular W124, apart from its very low mileage, was the very rare colour scheme, and the fact that it was a special order vehicle for a High Court Judge. Also having been Ziebarted from new, the bodywork was absolutely amazing and still remains the best preserved W124 Coupe I've had so far. That hideous steering wheel in the photos was removed and replaced with the orginal soon after the review!!

Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine October 2011: 1987 Mercedes 190E "Model Behaviour".

I've had the great pleasure to sell this car three, yes three times! Thankfully every single one of those owners have doted on this beautiful example, which is slightly unusual in itself as although it's a pre-facelift car, it's been fitted in it's very early in its life with facelifted side cladding. I was told by a previouis owner this was done in the late 1980's by a Mercedes dealership to promote the upcoming arrival of the facelift W201. This particular review was done around four months after I sold the car to its current owner. Alan, has very kindly allowed me to publish this review on my site. Also as an enthusiast myself, its always satisfying for me to know I've "homed" a car well, and it looks like Alan was exactly the right man for this fine example!

Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine December 2012: 1990 Mercedes 190E 2.6 "Mighty White"
I've had this car quite some time now, and become quite attached to it. Ive also used it on and off wiithin that period too, and its a joy to drive. I was approaced my Mercedes Enthusiast magazine who wanted to feature it in their "forecourt finds" second of the December 2012 issue, which was celebrating the 30th Birthday of the W201, and thought this car would fit in well with the theme of the magazine. Obviously I was more than happy to oblige!

Mercedes Club Gazzete Magazine February 2013: 1989 Mercedes W124 260E

I recently had the good fortune to sell one of my W124's (a low mileage 260E) to fellow club member, Steve Howie who writes for the Mercedes Club Gazette.Steve thought it would be poignant to mark his return to W124 ownership by writng a small piece about his experience for the magazine, together with a picture of me handing the keys to the 260E to him, outside my unit. Its so nice for me to know that my cars are going to homes where they'll be seen and appreciated by fellow club members.
